When a scene grabs my attention, I photograph it and mull it around in my mind for days before it finally needs to be put on paper. Sometimes it takes several attempts before I am satisfied that I have captured what it was that grabbed me. I tend to work in a limited color palette, and most of my work is simple, without a lot of extraneous detail.  So with my work, you have a piece of art that should be restful.
